Our History

1971

Émilien Philibert founds Phil Excavation Inc. and establishes a reputation for excellence in water services and sewers in Montreal.

1998

Pierre Philibert, the founder's son, takes over the company following his father's passing. Surrounded by his brothers and sisters, he propels the family business to regional reference status in the underground conduit industry.

1998-2025

Three decades of strategic investments in cutting-edge technology, employee development, and operational innovation consolidate Phil Excavation Inc.'s position as a Montreal market leader.

June 2025

New era, same commitment. Sandro Roberti (owner and president of SR Excavation), Michael and Ricardo Granata acquire the company with a clear vision: continue the legacy of excellence while expanding the service territory to the South Shore, Laval, and the North Shore. Phil Excavation Inc.'s expertise enters its next phase of growth.
